Earthquake

That was panic-inducing. It was the biggest one I've felt in my short 7 years in Los Angeles.

Wasn't sure what to do, and now I know.

You can tell Soul Brother #1 and I are natives. We looked puzzled for a second, shrugged our shoulders and then said to one another, "Oh! That's just an earthquake." Weird. We're accustomed to them, I think, because we both remember the big Sylmar quake in the early 70's. Now THAT was an earthquake.

The other small tremblers I've felt in my short time here were curious. This one elicited the same response from me at first, but as it went on in duration past what I experienced before, I had time to realize I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. That was what made me jumpy. :)
