Dongpo Pork

Sunday's experiment was a dongpo ro (braised pork belly). Here's the recipe I kind of used.

The boy (who has some strange aversion to fat and skin) even liked it.

You're kidding me. I don't know why I assumed his tastes were basically the same as yours. If he doesn't like fat and skin, he's treading in my waters.

Keep gourmet chefing . . . cause I know you've given up surfing! ;-)

He doesn't eat all the weird things I eat - chicken feet, liver, neck, etc. Part of it is for his health, the other part is that it's too much work for him. He also thinks crab is a high-maintenance food because it's too much work.
